Carl's Door

It turns out that what is affecting Georgiou is actually just being where she is.  Being Displaced through time is one thing, hopping from one alternate universe to the next? It can happen...but try living in the wrong universe and then traveling so far ahead in time?  It is going to destroy you.  David Cronenberg shows back up to explain to Culber that it is pretty hopeless and that she is likely doomed.  But Culber asks the computer and the computer quickly responds with "there is a tiny chance."  Some remote planet, with no population to speak of...it may hold the key to her survival.
Burnham and Georgiou arrive on the planet, it's nothing but snow. The walk until they find "Carl" a man just sitting there, reading tomorrow's paper, and offering up a door for Georgiou to walk through.  Once she does...she is not only back in her own universe, but back in her own time as well.  Actually she is before she left, back when she first uncovered Mirror Burnham's betrayal and conspiracy to overthrow her led by Lorca.  She is determined to have these events unfold differently.

And really that is it for this episode.  It is only the first half of that story.  We get the build up to how she got there, and her reveal to Mirror Burnham that she knows what is up and throws her in an agony booth. So far, it is a solid offering, even if I am no big fan of Evil Georgiou and therefore the stakes of her being killed and written of the show are no big stakes to me...at least she works better in her own universe.  We shall see if the conclusion keeps this solid story in the good column.
