The Titan crew attempts to find some helpful friends somewhere in Starfleet, but are running out of luck. Even good ol' Tuvok is a Changeling (with hints that the real Tuvok could still be alive somewhere). Hoping to turn the tables, they lure Vadic into a trap, but while the plan initially seems like it is working perfectly, a monkey wrench is thrown into the works: Lore.  Lore overtakes the android body and the ship's systems, and suddenly Vadic and all her crew are released and can overtake the ship. 

We get Vadic's origin here. She was a Changeling who was experimented on during the Dominion War, with the ultimate plan being to create super spies who can be undetectable and slip into any situation.  Vadic was able to mimic the scientist who tortured her and murder the scientist, and is now the hell bent on revenge Vadic we know today. 

 

In the end Data may have been able to overtake Lore in the android mind, but the day is lost. Vadic gets control of the ship and is planning to take Jack Crusher wherever it is he is meant to go....and some major secret about who he REALLY is can soon be revealed.  Okay.  

This is an okay episode but definitely one of those inching the story forward types.  It has some backstory revealed and certainly important for the ongoing story, but it doesn't feel like that much actually happens in the episode.
