The animated series usually took itself fairly seriously, but this is more comedy driven, much like the TOS episode it is the sequel of. The plot is fairly straightforward…the title says it all. As the animated series goes, this is a fun episode.
The bit with Kirk knocking the ever-growing tribble off his seat is funny. I like the Glommer in design and premise...but his name somehow feels sillier than it should be, seeing as it was meant to be designed by the Klingons. The most unfortunate thing is that the Klingons are TOTALLY lame in this episode.
