Not the best episode or story. There is no real depth to this one, and while this show is just a cheap Saturday morning cartoon, a lot of episodes had at least a little depth to them.
Shapeshifter in the form of a philanthropist (in a time without money how is there a rich guy?) invades the Enterprise and takes the ship into the Romulan Neutral Zone. Its got a lot of the elements that make this series seem weak. Bad dialogue, lame story, cheapo animation…I mean theres a moment where its shifted its shape a table…and Kirk points out that there’s an extra table in the sickbay…not McCoy, which would have mad more sense…but in response Spock says “I just noticed that”….Jeez Louise! What a lame reaction.
