A group of racial stereotypes have some vaccine that the federation need, but they are also sex offenders and steal Lt. Yar. The story descends into a lame fight to the death for Yar, and just feels like they are ripping off “Amok Time” a little. After having a rehash the week before, this would be a little disconcerting if I had no knowledge of this series future.
The episode is just plain bad, and based on her acting, I say let them keep Yar and get the damn vaccine.
