The Enterprise crew is sick with Rigelian Fever, they need a drug found on a supposedly barren planet nearby. Unfortunately it is not barren, it has a grumpy old man living on it, and he wants Kirk and Co. off of his lawn.
Like many this season it is bad, boring, or forgettable. My money is on forgettable, since I remember almost none of it.
