A being that claims to be one of many Gods, specifically Apollo, who once visited Earth in Ancient Greece now forces the landing party of the Enterprise to stay and worship him. The episode is pretty good, even in its oddness. I find it enjoyable, you may too, just go with it. It also is pretty intelligent, humorous, and a little tragic.
Oh and Chekov’s hair is a hilariously bad wig.
