The universe almost ceases to exist for a moment. The Enterprise is the only ship that can save it, and they’ve met a strange man who has been chasing a “monster”…a “thing” across the cosmos. It turns out that the "thing" is in fact an anti-Lazarus, a duplicate of himself, whom he must destroy.
It is one odd episode. I’ve seen it twice and I still can’t say whether I like it or not. I think its average, but there are a lot of strange things that go on in this episode, it’s a judgment call for every viewer probably.
