Kirk, Spock, and McCoy are held captive by the Vians with a mute woman. Like much of this season it falls short of being a good episode. This one isn’t ridiculous, just dull and boring.
It’s a wonder how fast the show fell. Roddenberry must have been a good leader (something he certainly was not during the later years of Trek), or at least had a good handle on things, without him this show fails to excite as easily as the previous two seasons really did.
