Time travel is a favorite concept of mine. My love of both Doctor Who and Back to the Future is evidence of that. So this time travel Trek episode is certainly one of the better time travel stories the franchise produced. It’s the first!
The Enterprise is accidentally hurled back to the late 1960s, and then accidentally beams aboard a jet fighter Captain (he was pursuing the Enterprise as a UFO). The time travel concepts are well executed and the performances are all good from everyone involved.
This first season is excellent, so many exceptional episodes and even the bad ones are good cheesy fun.
