When some worker robots are malfunctioning, Data comes to a conclusion that these robots have developed self-awareness, and as a result, they are sentient beings now. It is a slightly less interesting counterpart to the second season’s “The Measure of a Man”.
I say slightly less interesting because it isn’t nearly as well written or solid as that piece, but it is still a well put together episode. It just never reaches the quality of that one.
