Professor Moriarty, who achieved self-awareness in the episode “Elementary, Dear Data” a couple of years prior has reactivated himself. He’d like to be alive now, and wants to know why the crew of the Enterprise and the writers forgot about him for so long.
It is a solid episode that really looks into the issue of what is sentient and what is not. And I think it nicely picks up where “Elementary, Dear Data” left off.
Solid episode all around.
