I find this one to be not only kind of lame, but out of character for Picard. He falls for one of his subordinates, which I have a hard time buying as a premise. The fact that it is linked to one of the best moments in the series (“The Inner Light”) does not make me like it any better, it actually makes me annoyed that THIS is the best they could do to follow up on it.
Instant-love story, especially focusing on Picard, is a bad idea.
