The Enterprise crew once again encounters the Crystaline Entity that destroyed the planet where Data was built. They take aboard a scientist, who has made it her life’s work to find, study, and destroy this entity…at all costs.
She is initially distrustful of Data, knowing of how Lore was the one who originally lured the entity to Omicron Theta. She comes around and begins to trust Data, but her vow of vengeance for the death of her son by the entity leads her to continue to try and kill this entity despite Picard’s plan to try and make communication with it.
I’d say it was a solid episode.
