It was about time they gave Dr. Crusher a good episode. After an experiment gone wrong by Wesley, the doctor loses her friend who had recently come aboard. Then some of her staff goes missing…then more…and as it turns out, the whole crew is missing over 800 people.
So that leaves Beverly alone, trying to figure out what the hell is going on…because no one else has a memory of it. It is a great episode. I find it both enjoyable and interesting, and quite frankly I just like that this often-underused character finally got her episode.
It also saw the return of the Traveler, who first appeared in the first season, and it is another step in the final fate of Wesley.
