What a horrendous episode to sit through. Some annoying little girl has an imaginary friend, which concerns Troi and her father, but then some “TNG magical entity” makes the imaginary friend real, and she immediately proceeds to tell the little girl to…you know…burn the ship to the ground.
It is just annoying to sit through, it focuses on plot over characters, and those are always the weaker episodes of Star Trek.
