Story: Disaster

I love “Disaster”. It is absolute fun. It does exactly what it says on the tin: it’s a Star Trek Disaster film. The ship goes into Towering Inferno mode, and as a result several characters are put into situations in which they are not entirely comfortable. Picard is in a Turbolift shaft with little kids. Troi is left in command on the bridge. Worf is left in Ten Forward trying to deliver Keiko’s baby.
This episode also put a bit of command confidence in the usually useless Troi. I liked that it made her think about where she is…and I also like that the show almost acknowledges that Troi is kinda useless.
It is fantastic; it is fun…just sit back and enjoy the show.
