Yikes. It is an episode like this that makes you get why some people hate Lwaxana Troi. It isn’t the character, it is the writing. The whole episode has her attempting to get Worf to lighten up while teaching Alexander carefree wacky ways.
It is just dumb and annoying, and it is her showcasing that she is some kind of bad parent, which seems contrary to her character. Lightening up is important for a parent, but she takes it too far in this episode. And of course, she is displayed as being the correct one.
