When a runabout ends up on a planet plagued by disease (a punishment from the Dominion for resistance). Bashir battles the disease hoping to save the whole planet…but it is a battle he can’t win, no matter how good or brilliant a doctor he may be. It is a real test for a physician…to face inevitable death and not be able to do anything about it.
I think Siddig gives a great performance, and it really works well. A solid episode, not the best, but solid for sure. I do love the opening scene with the Quark’s commercial though, HILARIOUS.
