Geordi is kidnapped by the Romulans and is reprogrammed to assassinate a Klingon governor in an attempt to shatter relations between the Klingons and the Federation, hoping to shift the balance of power in the Alpha Quadrant.
It is a great episode, and gives us a shadowy female Romulan as a villain…one that sounds familiar and will likely show up in like...two episodes? Geordi sometimes doesn’t get a lot of episodes, so I kind of liked that he got one here.
The ending, in which Geordi is forced to confront his false memories, is really chilling and well written. It kind of leaves us on a scary note, is Gerodi gonna be okay? Well yea…trusty old Troi will talk him through missing and false memories, but it is nice that they gave him that moment.
